A Founder-Operated Venture FirmEst. Long Island, New York
We build what we back.
Most venture firms fund from a deck and hope. We don’t. Every company in our portfolio was conceived, coded, and shipped in-house: voice-first AI products, behavioral health platforms, healthcare tools, and commerce infrastructure with real users, not waitlists.
A letter, in place of an about page
There are two kinds of investors. The kind who read the memo, and the kind who lived it. We started ElEv because we kept meeting the first kind: smart people funding products they had never used, in markets they had never sold into.
So we did the stranger thing. We built the companies ourselves. Every holding on this page began as a problem we couldn’t stop thinking about, became a product we shipped, and earned its place here with real users. When we say we understand distribution, it’s because we ran it. The first hundred customers, the pricing mistakes, the channel that finally worked.
We invest early, before institutional money gets interested, because that’s the stage where building experience is worth more than a board seat. And we don’t disappear after the wire. We were never on the other side of it to begin with.

AI products with paying users, not waitlists.
A demo is a promise. A paying user is a fact. We build and back AI products where distribution is part of the plan from day one. A great model with no channel is an expensive experiment.
Regulated work, made less painful.
Healthcare workflows, compliance tracking, professional credentialing. Where the friction is obvious and the incumbents are slow, a small, fast product wins ground out of all proportion to its size.
Behavioral health, taken seriously.
Mental health, AI dependency, behavioral assessment. The problems are obvious and most of the solutions are still bad. We build consumer products that treat the user like an adult.
Commerce that runs without headcount.
Automated products, smart fulfillment, market-timing systems. Infrastructure built to catch markets while they’re moving, and to keep running when no one is watching.

After the wire
We sit in the meetings that matter.
Channel strategy, the first hundred customers, the pricing call at 11 p.m. We’ve run every one of those playbooks on our own products, so we don’t advise from the sidelines.
We ship, so we respect shipping.
We know what a real release cycle costs because we live in one. Founders get an investor who reads the changelog, not just the board deck.
Direct about fit, fast about no.
We respond quickly, we’re honest about whether we can help, and we never string a founder along for optionality. Time is the one thing we can’t give back.
